The Goal 

The goal of our Trap-Neuter-Return program is to humanely REDUCE the population of free roaming cats in Arlington.

 

  • Reduces kittens born outdoors that increases populations or are euthanized at area shelters.

  • Reduces nuisance behaviors by unneutered cats.

  • Provides rabies vaccinations for outdoor cats.

  • Permanently reduces the overall population.

 

 

 

TNR RESULTS IN ARLINGTON

•  2,000+ Community Cats rescued from AAS by FAAS

•  7,500+ Community Cats TNRed in Arlington

•  62% increase in the Cat Live Release Rate at AAS

•  48% decrease in Cat Intake at AAS
